Pilates is a system of low impact exercises sometimes using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, agility, posture, and enhance mental awareness. It also teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. It can even help alleviate back pain. The exercises need to be practiced with Precision. It’s not how much or how many reps you complete in a pilates exercise. It is about the quality and precise nature of your moves. These movements target your core by using specialized breathing techniques to assist in control as well as considerations.
